Position Summary

 

Reporting directly to the Owner, the Operator performs a variety of tasks related to the operation of heavy construction equipment and maintenance of said equipment https

We are a very reputable and professional Excavation Company. We are looking to hire a top notch excavator operator that has advanced excavator experience to join our team.

Our ideal candidate must have experience in residential excavation.

Excavator operator must also have the following:

· Knowledge in reading blueprints

Performs equipment safety, maintenance checks and routine repairs.
making emergency adjustments as necessary
· Experience using laser/transit

· Must have experience doing new foundation excavations

· We want to hire a candidate who will grow with our company long term business plan

· We mainly work within the Bay of Quinte and surrounding area

Qualifications

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Advanced experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract
Ability to understand and follow instructions; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, construction specifications, and procedure manuals.
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks including drug screening and physical assessment.

Physical Requirements

Works outdoors at construction sites.
Exposed to all weather conditions including very hot and very cold weather.
Exposed to loud noise.
Pay is bi weekly with benefits!
